In the final women's event of the day we saw a great battle between two of the nation's top 4x400 squads, Penn State and Auburn. Heading into the final exchange Penn State All-American and 400H school record holder Fawn Dorr opened up a sizable gap on Auburn. The lead was not to last however as Auburn's Joanna Atkins, the 2009 NCAA 400H Champ, kicked down PSU for the win and a sub-52 split to provide a great ending to the 2010 Sun Angel Track Classic. This was also the first 4x400 trackside race covered by Flotrack.
